– Founding chairman of Atlantic Records, Ahmet Ertegun, is dead at the age of 83. He dies of complications from too much headbanging at a recent Rolling Stones concert. Seriously. What a way to go for this rock and roll lifer. From popularizing R & B in the 1940s and 1950s to the chairman of everything in major label rock for the past 30 years…
