— Songs from The Beatles will be made available through music services “soon”, according to an EMI chief. The Beatles are the last major-league group to resist digital music. EMI Music vice chairman David Munns confirmed the plans during a keynote discussion at last week’s Web 2.0 Conference.
— Kyle at Information Leafblower has surveyed the bloggers who write about new music to compile his list of the top 40 US bands. He did this last year to much scorn, if I remember correctly. We’ll see how this year’s list (which is topped by TV On the Radio) fares.
