Rock Clip of the Week

This week’s cool clip is one of the most difficult songs to sing, even if you’re Pelle Almqvist, singer of The Hives.

It’s a live version of “A Little More for Little You”, a promo clip of sorts, intercut with band photos and weird montages. It’s a good look if you’ve yet to see the band live, with “…the Hives dressed in black and white, lookin’ outtasite tonight….”, says Almqvist.

I’m so glad I saw the Hives on their last couple of NYC visits, during the release of Veni Vidi Vicious and Tyrannosaurus Hives. Fun fun fun performances, fast, sweaty, rock and rollin’…

The band’s Wikipedia entry says …“The Hives are currently in the studio working on the follow-up to “Tyrannosaurus Hives” due out by autumn 2006. The title of the album is rumoured to be “The World’s First Perfect Album”.” HA! I love it. Looking forward to it.
