Sex Pistols – Spunk

Castle Music and Sanctuary Records have released a 30th Anniversary edition of the original Dave Goodman-engineered ‘Spunk’ demos made by the Sex Pistols in late 1976/early 1977, a number of months before Never Mind the Bollocks was released.

The ‘Spunk’ demos reissue comes some 30 years after the Sex Pistols first recordings in Summer 1976. Pitchfork recommends that newcomers to the Pistols should stick with Bollocks as their entree into Johnny Rotten’s world. They’re right.
